Please feel free to use, reuse, or adapt the following information for your syllabus:
The University Libraries can support you as you research, learn, and complete assignments for this class and throughout your time at Nebraska. Through the University Libraries, you have access to millions of digital and physical resources, both on and off campus, as well as subject specialists who can help you find, evaluate, and use information.
You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for before asking for help. Librarians can help you develop a research question, find and evaluate sources, navigate databases, and use information effectively. You can also explore librarian-created tutorials and research guides, attend workshops, tours, and events, or explore archives and special collections.
The University Libraries may also provide free access to required and recommended course materials, including books, articles, and videos. Explore the Libraries Course Materials link in your Canvas courses to see what’s available. If you need an article, book, or other resource that the Libraries do not have, Interlibrary Loan can often help you obtain it. If you need a place to work, Love and Dinsdale Libraries offer a variety of spaces for individual and group study.
There are many ways to get started, whether you have a specific research question or aren’t sure what you need yet. Visit ASKus to connect with the Libraries and get help.
