Teaching Resources & Course Materials
The Libraries provides an array of asynchronous online materials that expand student information literacy learning beyond the classroom. In addition, we offer resources, tools, and consultation for instructors interested in reducing or eliminating their students’ course materials costs through adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER), Libraries-provided eBooks and articles, and other no-cost materials.
Resources
Open Educational Resources (OER)
OER are teaching, learning, and research resources that either:
- reside in the public domain
- licensed in a manner that permits their free use and re-purposing by others
We provide resources and consultation for instructors interested in adopting, adapting, and creating OER.
Virtual Learning Tutorials
We've developed and curated a collection of interactive tutorials and instructional videos that help library users at all levels to develop or enhance a variety of information literacy skills.
Integrate existing tutorials and videos into your Canvas courses

- Choose one or more of these subject, topic, or course online guides and link them from your Canvas course.
- Work with a librarian to develop a custom course guide which
- Gathers and organizes relevant resources for your course like books, articles, website, database, etc.
- Provides your students with tips and strategies for effective research and citations.
