University Libraries Administration

Led by the dean, the chief administrative and academic officer of the University Libraries, the administrative team provides strategic and operational leadership across the organization. The team leads financial stewardship, strategy development, fundraising and advancement, communications, organizational development, and the care of the human, physical, and digital infrastructures that sustain our mission.

Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of UNL Libraries’ efforts to advance student learning, development, and success and for anticipating, responding to, and engaging in the contemporary needs of the University’s research communities. Departments include:

Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Libraries efforts to develop, sustain, and make accessible the content resources necessary to advance research and learning across the University. Departments include:

Digital Strategies

Responsible for leading the technology initiatives of the Libraries, including digital creation and preservation, library technical systems and infrastructures, and hardware and software support.

Archives & Special Collections

Responsible for collecting, organizing, and providing access to primary source, rare and unique items in all formats representing university history, the literary and cultural history of the region, and other areas of distinctive collecting.

Finance and Administration

Serves the budgetary, financial, human resources, facilities, organizational development and assessment, and administrative support needs of the administration, faculty, staff, and student employees of the Libraries.
