Whether you're just getting started or looking to expand the reach of your work, we’re here to help.
Guidance for Authors Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
The NIH requires authors to publish their NIH-funded research in PubMed Central (PMC). The version to be deposited with PMC must be the final, peer-reviewed version accepted by the journal.
For more information about meeting these requirements, visit our NIH Public Access Policy and NIH Friendly Journals guide.
Where to Publish
Open Access Publishing
The Libraries have agreements with some publishers and publications in order to reduce or eliminate author publishing charges (APCs) for UNL-affiliated authors.
