A Community User Card allows UNL Alumni Association Members, Reciprocal Borrowers and Nebraska Residents to check out materials owned by UNL Libraries, and to use designated computers for specified amounts of time.

If you need a Non-Nebraska Resident Card for on-site computer use, you can only request this card in person at ASKus locations in Love Library and Dinsdale Family Learning Commons. A Non-Nebraska Resident Card cannot be requested with this form.

To request a Community User Library Card, read the agreement below. This will take you to the next page to complete the request form.

You have the option to fill out the form remotely or in person at a Libraries ASKus desk.

  • If you fill out the form remotely, we will mail the card to the address you submit in your request form.
  • If you fill out the form in person at a Libraries ASKus desk, a Community User Library Card will be issued to you at that time.

After you submit your request, you will receive an email that includes the "Community User Library Card Agreement."
