The Archives & Special Collections hold materials that document the academic life of students, with many of the materials relating to registered student organizations. Early records from debate clubs, literary societies, sororities, and fraternities represent the history of the university, after classes started in 1871 until the present. Many of the records highlight student activity associated with a specific subject, major, or social concern.
